Open Water Diver

If you’ve always wondered what lies beneath the surface, now’s the time to find out. Start the journey of a lifetime with the Open Water Diver course. It will change you forever.

In the Open Water Diver course, your instructor will teach you the basics of Scuba Diving and the operation of all of the Scuba gear that you will be using. You will complete Confined Water Training sessions(in a swimming pool) before progressing to the Open Water for your final four Certification dives. Our highly skilled staff will be there to guide you through the hows and whys of diving. Our goal is to take you from beginner to a highly capable and competent diver during the course. We will do everything in our power to ensure that your experience culminates in a life long love of diving and all its great adventures. Our passion for the sport and our desire to share that with you will be evident from the start.

You will begin with home study using web based training and then progress to your Classroom and Pool instruction.  The Home Study program must be completed prior to the Classroom phase.  During the classroom phase your instructor will be providing you all of the detailed information about diving and all the required skills that you will need to become a safe and competent diver.  We will ensure you are fully qualified before sending you to Open Water to complete your course.

Earning your Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure and uncommon tranquility await you. And, as you continue your adventure and gain experience through higher training levels, your opportunities will expand.

Pricing Considerations

We at Aquanautics know that price is always a consideration for our customers.  With that understanding we have tried to simplify our pricing and bundle together all the various components in to one price.  There are a lot of shops that offer what seems to be a much cheaper price, then once you have signed up you discover many hidden expenses that bring your final cost up.  With us there is nothing hidden.  In your small group class you will have many more hours of instructor interaction than you do in most other programs giving us a far greater value at the same overall price.  We encourage you to look at all the costs associated with any course you are interested and if you have any questions on the pricing please feel free to contact us.  We look forward to providing you the highest quality training available at the best possible value.
